This piece takes inspiration from the 1940s pin-up girls. I have her sitting in a classic position of the style of that era. Putting my twist on it I have made the picture very identifiable, I have used a vintage world map (collage) in the top portion of the painting. There is no doubt that she is an Aussie bathing beauty.

This painting, I hope, reminds the viewer of a more carefree and simpler time.
